| My late Grandma Sue with LMW |
About this time a year ago, I was not well-rested but had a beautiful new baby boy to love on. I still needed a shower but was able to enjoy the best breakfast I'd ever eaten (because I hadn't eaten in two days). Despite all the weirdness of being in a hospital, trying to learn how to breastfeed with visitors and nurses coming in and out, staff checking your vitals every two hours, etc., it was a blessed time. But I must say, I'm glad LMW is no longer a newborn. Yes, I miss the smell of clean, new baby head and that precious, squeaky cry. But I love that we can communicate better now and that he's WALKING and talking and being cute on purpose, even if he knows he's not supposed to get into that speaker we've told him to leave alone 500 times. I wouldn't trade the past year for anything in the world, but I also wouldn't choose to go back. I love being the little dude's mama and even though I'm not ready to rush into the future, I look forward to what is before us. What all he will accomplish and learn in the next year. Who he will turn out to be. That? I can't wait for that.

He's got so BIG!! I didn't realise seeing regular photos of him, but he's growing like a weed!! Still as adorable as ever though, my little squeaky peach
