Clean-Up Progress - Week 4

I didn't get much done this week because I caught whatever LMW had and was sick most of the week. I did get a few things organized Sunday night, so at least I had a few things to mark off the list. Here are a few before-and-afters:

Top of the book cabinet in the living room

 I took down those red candles and haven't found a permanent home for them. If I can find a place, I'll either chunk them or donate them to our local charity. I chunked that orange candle and the glass bowl with the coffee beans, which was one of the guest table centerpieces at our wedding. I figured it was time to throw that out. As well, that air freshener was thrown in the trash too because we haven't refilled it in quite some time. Some of the other decor has been put in a temporary place until I can figure out what to do with it. I'm not even addressing the pile up of books INSIDE the cabinet. That's a whole different project...

The Willow Tree figurine isn't in the before picture, but it used to be on top of the cabinet until I moved it to this shelf. (I used to be creeped out by Willow Tree until Michelle got this for me when LMW was born.)

 I just wanted to show some of my living room decor. Still need to do something with those DVDs.

Well, I did put the fan back up there because we like airflow and the noise when we sleep. Mom gave me  that jewelry box and I got rid of all the little boxes I was using for jewelry.

Bedside Table

I moved the engagement photo to my bedside table because there was room and I wanted to keep the photo in our room. But it was too tall to keep on the chest of drawers. It didn't flow with the other things.

Messy

This is a pile of junk in the corner of my bedroom that I need to sort through. I need to bag up that maternity pillow and put it in the shed (for if/when I get pregnant again) and I already have some clothes bagged up for donation.

Letter Sorter

This is the letter box I bought the other day. It needs to be installed on the back of the carport door but I went ahead and put the bills in it, writing the date and amount each are due.
