15 Weeks

>> Tuesday, November 10, 2009

If I'm in the second trimester, how come I don't feel the energy burst yet? I'm still fighting off fatigue and it seems I've had a lot of headaches lately. My doc had to call me in some Tylenol 3 last week. :(

But in positive news, Baby is the size of a naval orange today! Pretty big, huh? He/She is kicking, curling toes, and moving arms and legs. Haven't felt the baby move yet, but I can there's weird stuff going on in there. Like things are shifting around or...something. Boo crawled up in my lap last night and curled up on my belly. He never does that--he usually puts his head up near my neck and lays on my chest, but never just on my tummy. I think he was trying to keep the baby warm. :)

I went shopping with Leslie and Michelle Saturday and bought some stuff. Mom tends to think it all looked like boy stuff but I can throw some pink in there if it's a girl. I just didn't want to get anything with pink on it in case it's a boy.

All of the loot.

Monkey baby blankie.

The baby must like rock n' roll.

Boo is already jealous. Or just getting ready.

I love it! How neat to hear what all the baby is *doing* now. I kinda just felt like they sat there, and maybe kicking was like a reflex or something. And I love that Boo was laying on your belly. Ken told me yesterday that you're starting to look like a mama. Can't wait to see you!

I actually really like those colors. And yes, you can throw in some pink..... or orange *wink* if it's a girl. :)

I didn't usually get the burst of energy until after 16 weeks....closer to 18 weeks! It will happen and you will love it. Hang in there a few more weeks.
